Oppo Reno 9 Pro and Pro+ models to have 50MP Sony IMX890 and 32MP cat eye front camera

The Reno 9 series is supposedly launching in China before the end of this month. This will take the place of the Reno 8 lineup, which is well-liked in the mid-range market.

The Reno 9 series will combine the use of Qualcomm and MediaTek chipsets. The phones might also make their debut in India, even though the launch date has not been disclosed. It is projected that the announcement will occur in the first quarter of 2023.

According to the rumors, The Reno9 and Reno9 Pro will both have dual back cameras, while the Pro+ will have triple rear cameras. These phones’ 6.7-inch FHD+ 120Hz OLED displays should support 2160Hz ultra-high frequency PWM dimming. In the Pro models, the 50MP IMX890 sensor will take the place of the IMX766 sensor.

The Reno 9 Pro is said to have a 4,500mAh battery with 67W charging capability and be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8100-Max chipset. A 50MP primary Sony IMX890 camera and an 8MP secondary lens, most likely a UW sensor, are said to be included in the smartphone. It is also said to have a 32MP cat eye front camera.

Oppo 9 Pro+

The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen1 SoC is supposedly used in the top model. A 4,700mAh battery with 80W rapid charging capacity should fuel the phone. There will be three cameras on the phone. A 50MP primary Sony IMX890 camera with optical image stabilization, an 8MP secondary lens, and a 2MP sensor.
