Oppo Reno 9A launched in Japan for Yen 40,656, sales commence on 22 June
The new Oppo Reno 9A has been surfacing on the internet with its leaks and rumors for some time now. Today, Japan saw the release of the Oppo Reno 9A at a price of Yen 40,656. Sales for the phone would commence on 22nd June and as of now, it is available for pre-order in Japan.
We recently covered the specifications and compiled all the leaked and rumored information about the phone. However, the very next day, the Oppo page went live with the Reno 9a in Japan. Even our source didn’t expect it to be live this soon. But it seems like Oppo didn’t appreciate the leak, so they went ahead and released the data on their website themselves.

The said phone is the newest addition to the Oppo Reno series and comes with a 6.74-inch AMOLED display. The said display is supported by a refresh rate of 90Hz and provides FHD+ resolution.
The Oppo Reno 9A runs on Color0S 13-based Android 13 and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 processor. The phone provides 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. A 4,500 mAh battery powers the device which supports 18W fast charging.
The camera setup of the Oppo Reno 9A comprises a triple rear camera setup. This includes a 48MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP macro lens. On the front, there is a 16MP selfie camera.
IPX8 rating and an in-screen fingerprint scanner are some of its additional features.
The phone supports the following connectivity options: 5G, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, a 3.5mm jack, and a USB-C port.
The phone provides two color options, which are Night Black and Moon White.
The manufacturers haven’t shared any information regarding the phone’s global release.
