Oppo to choose Snapdragon over MediaTek for its upcoming Pad 3: Tipster

Previously, DCS wasn’t sure which chipset would power the new-gen tablet from Oppo. Earlier, it was reported that the upcoming tablet may either come with an SD 8 Gen 3 or a Dimensity 9300 processor. However, a new revelation again from DCS assures that Oppo will choose Snapdragon over MediaTek.

In his latest post, the famous tipster DCS (Digital Chat Station) has confirmed that the upcoming tablet from Oppo, i.e., Oppo Pad 3, will come equipped with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SOC. Not only this but in the comment section, he has also hinted at the screen size of this upcoming tablet. As per him, the screen will have a regular size, and it is hard to decipher what the tipster is saying. But going through the comment section, it could feature a 12-inch screen. Just to remind you, Oppo Pad 2 came with MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SOC and looks like Oppo has shown trust in SD 8 Gen 3 this time.

Not only this, but the rumor mill is again active regarding the Vivo Pad 4. As per early rumors, we can expect a MediaTek Dimensity 9400 SOC, but since it’s too early we advise you to take this info with a pinch of salt.

So far, this much has been revealed about this upcoming tablet from Oppo. Earlier reports hinted that Oppo Pad 3 may be launched in Q2 of 2024, but as per DCS, the launch has been delayed. He didn’t mention any timeline for the launch.
