OPPO’s Find X8 Series ColorOS 15 Features and Default Wallpapers Officially Shared; Find X8s Processor, Expansion Wallpapers, and Design Specs Also Teased
We are now exactly two weeks away from OPPO’s next major product launch event and the brand has been teasing its upcoming devices in the recent past days. Via its official Weibo handle, a few of the specs and features of the new flagship Find X8 series smartphones have been revealed by the brand.

Find X8 Series – ColorOS 15 Features and Default Wallpapers
The new Find X8 series flagships just like the already-launched Find X8 and Find X8 Pro models will also be coming with the Android 15 based ColorOS 15 out of the box. The brand’s custom skin is also pointed out to be AI-powered and super smooth, and it is equipped with dual smooth engines.
With the Aurora Engine, animations are faster and quicker (18% improved control response speed, 40% improved control stability), smooth details are assured, and multiple applications can be started and switched at high speed.
The Tidal Engine on the other hand, ensures high frame rate even while gaming and watch videos simultaneously (116.7 FPS average frame rate per hour), and strengthens application startup (26% improved average app installation speed, 22% improved third party app album loading speed).
Five default wallpapers will be offered on the Find X8 series devices, in Purple, Blue, Dark Blue/Violet, Yellow/Brown, and Pink colors.

About the upcoming compact-sized Find X8 series flagship – OPPO Find X8s, it is now teased to hit the market as the world’s first thin and light straight screen phone equipped with MediaTek’s Dimensity 9400+ chipset. Along with the Tidal Engine, superior performance and longer lasting battery life are claimed to be present on the device.
The Find X8s smartphone will also be arriving as the world’s narrowest four-sided mobile phone and the OPPO Theme Store will be offering its users with an Extremely Narrow Four-sided Wallpaper Zone. Eight expansion wallpapers have also been shared by the brand.
Apart from being the world’s first narrowest four-sided mobile phone, the device will also be featuring a thin form factor design and a light-weight body as well. The bezel size is also teased to be 1.25 mm on all its sides too.
OPPO has scheduled its product launch event on the 10th of April 2025 in the Chinese market, and the Find X8 Ultra, Find X8s, Find X8s+, Pad 4 Pro, Watch X2 Mini, Enco Free 4, and 27W Ice Wing Magnetic Cooling Back Clip devices are all going to be debuted.
