OPPO’s Latest Find X8 Series Launch Date Officially Announced in China: Will Feature MediaTek’s Dimensity 9400 Chipset
OPPO, one of the leading smartphone makers of China, has now officially confirmed the launch date for its latest flagship Find X8 series smartphones. The series is expected to comprise of four smartphones, among which, three will most likely launch this month itself. Also to add, the newly-unveiled MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chipset has also been teased for the upcoming smartphones.

OPPO Find X8 Series Launch Date Confirmed – Launching on 24th October 2024
As per the official poster shared via OPPO’s Weibo handle, the new product launch conference for the Find X8 series, which is expected to consist of the Find X8, Find X8 Pro, and Find X8 Pro Satellite Edition models, will be conducted on the 24th of October 2024, this month, in the brand’s home market in China. The latest series is also now officially confirmed to feature the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chipset, which is pointed out to bring better performance and power efficiency to the devices.
The Find X8 series is also said to have an ultra model – OPPO Find X8 Ultra, however, it might only be launched next year in January 2025 and will probably be equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset.
Coming to some of the revealed/expected specifications of the three upcoming smartphones, it is believed that OPPO is planning on adding new iPhone-like features to its Find X8 series and this includes the alert slider and a customizable pressure-sensitive button. A micro-quad-curved display, circular camera module, 80W wired charging and 50W magnetic wireless charging features, and the BeaconLink off-network feature are other expected features of the series. The vanilla Find X8 is suggested to sport a triple camera unit with single periscope telephoto lens, whereas the pro models could feature quad camera units with two periscope camera lenses. Moreover, the upcoming smartphones may also bring the Android 15-based ColorOS 15 out of the box.
