Oppo’s upcoming smartphone Oppo A38 smartphone renders, specs and price details leaked ahead of launch
Oppo is gearing up for the launch of new phones under A series which has recently been spotted on multiple certification websites. This list of new phones includes A38 and A18 which were recently spotted on BIS, TDRA, IMDA, and FCC certification websites.
The Oppo A38 has also appeared on Bluetooth SIG, and NBTC certification websites suggesting its near launch. As of now, we have only information regarding its certifications and moniker and little is known about the possible specs, design, and price of the Oppo A38 smartphone.
Recently Appuals in an exclusive report revealed the renders, specs, and price of the Oppo A38 smartphone. As per the report, this smartphone will come in two colour options Gold and Black. The renders looked similar to the Oppo A78 5G smartphone.
If renders are to be believed this smartphone can come with a dual camera setup on the rear side arranged in a pil-shaped module as we saw in the A78 5G smartphone. It can also come with stereo speakers and a 3.5mm jack as shown in renders. The front side of the phone can come with a water drop notch display housing a selfie camera.
Expected specifications
As per the report, this smartphone can come with a 6.56-inch LCD panel that sports 1612×720 (HD+) pixel resolution, 90Hz refresh rate, and support for 16.7 million colors. It can be powered by a MediaTek Helio G80 processor with 4GB RAM and 128 GB internal storage. On the software side we can get to see Android 13 OS with ColorOS layered on top.
As far as the camera is concerned it can sport a 50 MP primary camera with an f/1.8 aperture and with 2MP secondary camera featuring an f/2.4 aperture. The front side of the smartphone is likely to boast a 5MP lens with an f/2.2 aperture.
The report says that this smartphone can be backed by a 5,000 mAh battery that supports a USB-C port. Coming on to the body we can get to see a plastic body that features an IP54 rating and can come with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
Further report says connectivity features like support for dual Nano-SIM slots, microSD card slot, 3.5mm headphone jack, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, and Wi-Fi 5 can also accompany it.
Price and availability
As per the report, this smartphone will be priced at EUR 159 in Europe for 4GB RAM and 128 GB internal storage. It can be launched in Europe next month and then can debut in India and other Asian countries.
As of now, the company has not made any announcement regarding its launch but if the launch is to happen in next month it can soon start teasing users with its details.
