Pixel Fold 2 display specs tipped online; panel production said to start next month
Google is currently rumored to be working on it’s next foldable device- Pixel Fold 2 and as per few reports the device is expected to make it’s debut in the month of October this year along with Pixel 9 series. Previously few details regarding the Pixel Fold 2 smartphone emerged online while the 5K renders and 360 degree video of the device was also shared giving a closer look at the design aspects of the foldable device.
Today a new update has been shared regarding Pixel Fold 2, as per tipster @DSCCRoss on X platform the previous leaks regarding the display size of the upcoming device were not right and according to the tipster Pixel Fold 2 will be equipped with 8.02 inch foldable display and 6.29 inch cover display.
He also mentioned that the panel production of Pixel Fold 2 will begin in the month of April. Apart from this the earlier reports have revealed that the foldable device might be powered by Tensor G4 chipset that could be paired with 16GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB UFS 4.0 internal storage. It is also expected to run on Android 14 OS while the company might rollout 7 years of software updates for the foldable device.
Since there is a lot of time left for the launch of this device, more updates are expected to arrive regarding the Pixel Fold 2 smartphone.
