Pixel Fold showcased in the Google Pixel x NBA ad just ahead of it’s official launch at I/O 2023 launch event

Foldable smartphones are the new trend in the mobile industry. Samsung basically started this trend as it was the first smartphone brand to enter the foldable smartphone segment. After then since last few years, many other brands present in the market have also started introducing their foldable devices.

Google seems to follow in the same footsteps, in order to compete with its rival companies. Google’s first foldable smartphone- Pixel Fold is all set to enter the markets as the company will be introducing its first foldable at the I/O 2023 launch event.

Just a few hours ahead of the launch event, Google dropped an NBA-themed ad showcasing the latest Pixel Fold. This ad was accidentally tweeted by Google Pixel US which in just a few minutes was all over the Internet as the users got to witness the first official look of this upcoming device. Tech enthusiast Ben Geskin who goes by @BenGeskin on Twitter has shared the ad today.

In the ad, the NBA stars can be seen using the Pixel Fold while seamlessly switching from the front cover display to the inner folding screen. It also reveals features like Magic Eraser, Fold’s hinge that can turn the phone into its own stand at a 90-degree angle. It is expected that this foldable device will be a tough competitor to Samsung’s upcoming foldable.

Google is expected to unveil some more information about the Pixel Fold which till now are kept under wraps.
