POCO F5 and F5 Pro Colour Variants and Storage Options Tipped Ahead of Launch

The Chinese consumer electronics manufacturer, Xiaomi is now under the works of the POCO F5 series and the two upcoming devices have already appeared on multiple certification websites including the NBTC, TUV Rheinland, TDRA, SIRIM and FCC certification websites. Now the colour variants and the storage options of the two devices have been tipped.

Xiaomi is to launch its POCO F5 series in the second half of this year and Paras Guglani, the reliable tipster on Twitter has now tipped the colour variants and storage options of the upcoming devices.

From what has been tipped, the two devices will be available in 8GB/256GB and 12GB/256GB storage options and will be available in three colour choices – Blue, Black and White.

The upcoming POCO F5 and the F5 Pro smartphones, from what is now known, will be rebranded versions of the Redmi Note 12 Turbo and the Redmi K60 smartphones which are only available in the Chinese market.

Here are the expected specifications of the two devices

The POCO F5 smartphone is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 chipset and is likely to run on the latest Android 13-based MIUI 14(for POCO) custom user interface out of the box.

The device is also expected to feature a 6.67″ full HD+ AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz.

On its rear, the smartphone is expected to have a triple camera setup with a 64MP main camera, 8MP ultrawide camera, and a 2MP macro camera.

The smartphone is also expected to come equipped with a 5500 mAh battery that supports fast charging up to 67W.

Regarding the POCO F5 Pro, the smartphone is expected to come equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset and just like the other smartphone is likely to run on the Android 13-based MIUI 14(for POCO) custom user interface.

The smartphone is also expected to feature an AMOLED display panel with a screen size of 6.67 inch and is to have a QHD+ screen resolution with a refresh rate of 120Hz.

On its rear, the smartphone is expected to bring a triple camera setup with a 64MP OIS main camera, 8MP ultrawide camera, and a 2MP macro camera along with a front-facing camera of 16MP.

The smartphone is also likely to have a battery backup of 5500 mAh which would probably support a 67W fast charge feature.

Both the devices are also expected to be coupled with an LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 internal storage. For the POCO F5, the smartphone is to have a side mounted fingerprint sensor whereas the other smartphone, the POCO F5 Pro will likely bring an in-display fingerprint sensor on it.
