POCO F5 Pro 5G NBTC approved, launch imminent

POCO is reportedly working on the POCO F5 series, which will include two devices such as the POCO F5 and the POCO F5 Pro. Both models are likely to debut in the current quarter of 2023. The POCO F5 Pro was recently spotted at the FCC certification, and now it has been approved by Thailand’s NBTC authority today. Hence, it seems that it will debut soon in the global market.

As can be seen below, the NBTC listing yet again confirms that the POCO device with model number 23013PC75G will debut in the market with the POCO F5 Pro 5G moniker. The said device has also been spotted at some other certifications, such as TDRA (UAE), IMDA (Singapore), EEC (Europe), TUV Rheinland, and the IMEI database.

The POCO F5 Pro rumours have revealed that it will be a rebranded version of the Redmi K60, which was announced in China in December 2022. The device will arrive with a 6.67-inch AMOLED FHD+ 120Hz display, a Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset, and a 5,500mAh battery with 67W fast charging and 30W wireless charging.

The POCO F5 Pro is likely to arrive with up to 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 512 GB of UFS 3.1 storage. It will run on the Android 13 OS with the MIUI 14 on top. The F5 Pro will feature a 16-megapixel front camera, a 64-megapixel (main) + 8-megapixel (ultra-wide) + 2-megapixel (macro) triple camera unit, and an under-display fingerprint scanner.
