In the past week, POCO initiated teasers hinting at the impending launch of the Poco X6 series in India. While the brand has not officially announced the launch date on its social media platforms, a banner currently displayed on Flipkart has confirmed that the X6 series is set to be unveiled in the country on Jan. 11. The word “series” in the official teasers suggests that the brand may announce the POCO X6 and POCO X6 Pro on the said date. Here’s what to expect from both smartphones.
POCO X6 5G specifications (rumoured)
The POCO X6 5G may arrive with a 6.67-inch OLED panel that will offer a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It will feature the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset, up to 12 GB of LPDDR4x RAM, up to 512 GB of UFS 2.2 storage, and a 5,100mAh battery with 67W fast charging.
It will feature a 16-megapixel front-facing camera, and a 64-megapixel (main, with OIS) + 8-megapixel (ultra-wide) + 2-megapixel (macro) triple camera unit. It will run on MIUI 14 for POCO-based Android 13.
POCO X6 Pro 5G specifications (rumoured)
The POCO X6 Pro 5G will have a 6.67-inch OLED display that offers a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the device may ship with the Dimensity 8300-Ultra chip, up to 12 GB of LPDDR5x RAM, up to 512 GB of UFS 4.0 storage, and a 5,000mAh battery with 67W rapid charging. It may feature the same set of front and rear cameras that are available on the standard model.
As can be seen, the POCO X6 and X6 Pro will be tweaked versions of the Redmi Note 13 Pro and Redmi K70e, respectively, which are available in the Chinese market.
