Qualcomm shared the list of brands to launch with latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset
American semiconductor company Qualcomm recently launched the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. Even before its official launch smartphones were tipped to be powered by the latest chipset. As soon as the new chipset was launched, confirmation from leading brands came with the name of the smartphone that will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset.
Smartphones like iQOO 12 5G, ASUS ROG Phone 8 series, and Honor Magic 6 Pro are also announced. Now finally Qualcomm has officially shared a list of those brands to launch the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 powered smartphones. The list includes

A point that needs to be noted here is that a renowned brand like Motorola is still missing from the list. Xiaomi was the very first company to use the new chipset in its flagship series Xiaomi 14 series. A few days ago OnePlus phone, the OnePlus 12, was also spotted on the AnTuTu Benchmark website with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor.
One of the reasons brands want their smartphones to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor is because it’s 30% faster and 20% more efficient. Its GPU is 25% faster and 25% more efficient. AI Engine within the chipset will be able to give instant AI-assisted responses and will also enhance camera capabilities.
