Realme 12+ 5G images appear to reveal Realme 12 Pro series-like design

The Realme 12 Pro 5G and Realme 12 Pro+ 5G will debut on Jan. 29 in India and some other markets. Both devices are expected to land in China soon as well. Apart from these two devices, the brand is said to be working on the Realme 12 Pro Max 5G and the Realme 12+ 5G. At present, there is no new information available about the Max variant, but the 12+ seems to be nearing its launch as it has received approval from the MIIT authority in China. The images available through the MIIT certification have revealed the design of the smartphone.

Realme 12+ 5G design revaeled

The Realme 12+ 5G images reveal a design similar to the Realme 12 Pro series. While the Pro models are equipped with a curved-edge OLED panel, the 12+ seems to feature a flat screen. It is unclear whether the device has an LCD or OLED panel. On the back, the Realme 12+ 5G can be seen sporting a round camera module. It is unclear whether it has dual or triple cameras inside.

The Realme 12+ 5G heading to China has the RMX3866 model number, whereas its global version has the RMX3867 model code. The device has also received approval from certification platforms in countries like India, the UAE, Thailand, Malaysia, and Indonesia. The FCC authority has certified the device.

So far, reports have revealed that the Realme 12+ 5G will run on Realme UI 5 and come with support for connectivity features, such as 5G, dual SIM, and NFC. In addition, the device is expected to come with a 16-megapixel front camera, and its rear camera setup may feature a 64-megapixel main camera and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens. It is also expected to support 67W fast charging.
