Realme 12 Pro, 12 Pro+ images revealed via TENAA certification, periscope zoom camera confirmed
Realme is reportedly working on the Realme 12 Pro series of smartphones for various markets. While the Realme 12 Pro and 12 Pro+ have already been associated with model numbers RMX3842 and RMX3840, respectively, two new Realme devices have surfaced on China’s TENAA certification platform with model numbers RMX3841 and RMX3843. These numbers are believed to belong to the Chinese variants of the Realme 12 Pro. Images of the phones, now available through the TENAA listings, offer a first glimpse at the design of the Realme 12 Pro series.
The above images show two devices, both having a curved-edge OLED display on the front and a round camera module on the back. Both devices have a triple camera system, but one in orange has a periscope telephoto camera, which indicates it could be the Realme 12 Pro+.
Hence, it can be said that the Chinese variant of the Realme 12 Pro+ has the RMX3841 model number, whereas the Realme 12 Pro heading to China has the RMX3843 model number. As per reports, both devices are expected to feature the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset.
Reports have revealed that the Realme 12 Pro will have a Sony IMX709 32-megapixel telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom. A careful look at its camera module reveals support for up to 20x digital zoom. On the other hand, the 12 Pro+ is expected to feature the OmniVision OV64B 64-megapixel periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom, but there is no information about its digital zoom capabilities.
