Realme is expected to announce the Realme GT 5 flagship phone by the end of this month. Ahead of the launch, the company has started teasing some of its key features. It recently teased that the device will be equipped with the Snapdragon 8-series chipset and the highest amount of RAM. In the latest teaser, the company has hinted at the charging capabilities of the device.
The teaser hints that the Realme GT 5 will support 240W fast charging. Reports surrounding the device have revealed that the phone will come in two battery variants, each offering different charging speeds. The 5,200mAh battery variant of the device is said to support 150W charging. On the other hand, the GT 5 variant with a 4,600mAh battery is expected to support 240W fast charging.
Redmi GT 5 specifications
Reports have revealed that the Realme GT 5 will have a 6.74-inch OLED panel that offers a 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the device will feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, up to 24 GB of LPDDR5x RAM, and up to 1 TB of UFS 4.0 storage. The phone will run on Android 13 with a layer of Realme UI 4.0 on top.
The device is expected to feature a 16-megapixel front-facing camera. On the back, it may feature an OIS-enabled Sony IMX890 50-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 2-megapixel macro camera. For security, it will have an under-display fingerprint scanner.
