Realme GT Neo 5 to sport 50MP Sony IMX890 camera
Realme will unveil the Realme GT Neo 5 on Feb. 9 in the Chinese market. The device is expected to be released in the global market after being showcased at the MWC 2023 event at the end of this month. With only a few days remaining for the Chinese launch, the company is busy confirming the key features of the device. The brand has now confirmed its primary camera and its heat dissipation capabilities.
Realme has confirmed that the Realme GT Neo 5 will come equipped with an OIS-assisted 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 primary camera. The same camera is also available on the OnePlus Ace 2, which is set to launch tomorrow in China, as well as the Reno 9 series, which is already available in the home market. The GT Neo 5’s main camera will support the new Turbo RAW lossless computing photography, which will assist it in restoring colour quality and details.
The Realme GT Neo 5 will come equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1. Reports have revealed that there will be a 4,600mAh battery variant offering 240W fast charging and a 5,000mAh battery model arriving with 150W rapid charging.
Realme has also confirmed that the GT Neo 5 will be equipped with a new ice core dual-phase heat dissipation system with a surface area of 6580mm². It will house the industry’s largest graphene micro-nano cavity phase change material, measuring 4500mm² for efficient cooling inside the device.
