Realme Teases its GT 7 Smartphone With MediaTek’s Dimensity 9400+ Flagship Chip

MediaTek – the Taiwanese semi-conductor brand has already announced that it will be unveiling its next flagship chip – the MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ chip this month in April 2025, and Vivo (~ X200s) and OPPO (~ Find X8s) have already announced their upcoming flagship smartphones that will be hitting the market soon featuring this latest MediaTek chip.

Following Vivo and OPPO, Realme has also announced its Dimensity 9400+ powered flagship smartphone model, which is said to break its cover this month in April 2025. Read more about the teaser update below.

Realme GT 7 – To Feature MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ Chip

The Chinese smartphone maker – Realme has already unveiled its GT 7 Pro and GT 7 Pro Racing Edition devices in its home market (GT 7 Pro also unveiled in India), and the standard GT 7 smartphone is believed to debut this month (April 2025) in the country. By sharing a new teaser poster, Realme has now confirmed that its upcoming GT 7 smartphone will be among the first batch of the brand’s smartphones to feature the Dimensity 9400+ chipset of MediaTek. To add, the teaser poster also mentions – ‘Without 3nm, how can we dare to call it a performance flagship?’

Speaking more, MediaTek’s Dimensity 9400+ chip as is already known will be arriving as an overclocked version of the October 2024-released Dimensity 9400 chip, featuring a 3.70 GHz clocked Cortex X925 primary core. Regarding the upcoming Realme GT 7 smartphone, apart from the Dimensity 9400+ chip, reports point to expected specs like a 1.5K flat display screen, 7000 mAh battery backup, 100W wired fast charge support, thinner and lighter form factor design, and a possible price around CNY 3000.
