Realme’s 12 Pro+ smartphone has been taking its place in many reports and the brand has now revealed to make an official announcement in India, likely regarding this smartphone, two days later.

The Realme 12 Pro+ smartphone has by now received certifications from Malaysia’s SIRIM, UAE’s TDRA, and India’s BIS authorities, and a few of its specs and other features have been suggested through certain leaks.
The brand has now shared via its Indian Twitter handle to stay tuned for an official announcement on the 3rd of January 2024 at 7:30 AM IST. Just to add, previously the brand had teased a flagship with a periscope lens for the Indian market.

From what it seems, this announcement might be about declaring the Realme 12 Pro+ smartphone for India, along with its launch date, as per what has been tipped.

Speaking of some of its expected specifications, both the 12 Pro as well as the 12 Pro+ devices may likely continue to feature the curved-edge OLED display screen, probably supporting an FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The Pro models are also pointed out to arrive equipped with the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor.
Coming to the cameras, the 12 Pro+ model is said to sport a 64MP OmniVision OV64B periscope telephoto lens having 3x optical zoom capability, while the 12 Pro device is possibly going to have a 32MP Sony IMX709 telephoto camera with a zoom capability of 2x times.
