Red Magic 9 Pro packs 6,500mAh battery in a slim body, camera details confirmed
The Red Magic 9 Pro gaming phone is set to debut on Nov. 23 in China. As usual, the brand is now busy revealing some of the key features of the device. Today, it released a couple of posters to reveal its battery size and connectivity features. Here is a look at what’s known about the Red Magic 9 Pro so far.
The recent teasers of the Red Magic 9 Pro have revealed that it features an under-display front camera, which allows it to offer a truly full-screen experience. Unlike most other phones available in the market, the device does not have any camera protrusion. In addition, it is confirmed to feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, which powers the likes of the Xiaomi 14 series and the iQOO 12 lineup.
Today, the brand revealed that the Red Magic 9 Pro packs a massive 6,500mAh battery inside a body that measures only 8.9mm in thickness. The weight of the device is said to be 229 grams. As far as fast charging is concerned, it is expected to support 80W charging. The gaming phone will also offer connectivity features, such as NFC, an IR blaster, and a 3.5mm audio jack. For heat dissipation, it will have an active cooling fan.
The Red Magic 9 Pro has a triple camera setup on the back. It comprises a pair of 50-megapixel cameras and an auxiliary snapper. As per leaks, it will be equipped with an OIS-assisted Samsung GN5 primary camera and a 50-megapixel Samsung JN1 ultra-wide lens. In addition, the Magic 9 Pro is confirmed to come in three shades, such as Dark Night Knight, Deuterium Transparent Dark Night, and Deuterium Transparent Silver Wings.
