Red Magic 9 Series Officially Teased in the Global Market as China Launch Nears
Nubia’s Red Magic 9 series will be debuting in the Chinese market in two days, and as its China launch nears, the brand has officially teased the series in the global market.

The upcoming Red Magic 9 series has been teased globally via the brand’s global Twitter/X handle, and nothing, in particular, has been shared, except for a small teaser video showcasing the rear panel of a Red Magic 9 series device, along with the number “9” mentioned in the post shared.
Speaking more about the teaser video, a few days back, the first look of the Red Magic 9 Pro smartphone was revealed, and the teaser video that has been shared globally is a small clip from the first look. This points out that in the global market too, it is the pro model that has been teased.

As is known, even if the Red Magic 9 series (comprising of the vanilla Red Magic 9 and Red Magic 9 Pro devices) is said to launch in China on the 23rd of November 2023, the brand has only been teasing the pro model, and nothing about the vanilla Red Magic 9 smartphone has been shared yet. There is thus a doubt regarding whether both models will be announced on the same date or not.
Red Magic 9 Pro – Expected Specifications
About the Red Magic 9 Pro smartphone, the upcoming device will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, and will be featuring a display with an under-display selfie camera. At the rear, the smartphone won’t have any camera bumps, and will sport a triple rear camera setup with a 50MP Samsung GN5 OIS main camera, 50MP Samsung JN1 ultrawide lens, and an auxiliary lens.
The device will also be packing a 6,500 mAh battery backup and is likely to support an 80W fast charge feature. It will also be having NFC connectivity, an IR blaster, and a 3.5mm audio jack. Regarding its body, it will be 8.9mm thick and will only weight 229 grams.
The official renders of the smartphone are also now available, and the device is now confirmed to arrive in three color/design shades – Deuterium Front Transparent Silver Wings, Deuterium Front Transparent Dark Night, and Dark Night Knight.
