Xiaomi launched the Redmi 12C smartphone in China in December 2022 and at the beginning of this month the smartphone made its debut in the global market but about the India launch, there was nothing said by the brand. Though after the global launch, it was expected that the device will be soon make its way into the Indian market.
After all the speculations and rumors spreading on Internet, Xiaomi finally confirmed that it will be launching Redmi Note 12 4G and Redmi Note 12C in India on March 30 at a launch event.
Just ahead of its launch, tipster Ankit who goes by @TechnoAnkit on Twitter has tipped about the specifications of this upcoming device .

Redmi 12C: Specifications ( Expected)
As mentioned by the tipster, the smartphone will be sporting a 6.71-inch HD+LCD display with 500 nits of brightness. The phone will be powered by MediaTek Helio G85 SoC which will be paired with LPDDR4X RAM and eMMC5.1 storage. It will be equipped with 5 GB virtual RAM. It will be housing a 5000mAh battery that supports 10W charging and will pack up a 50MP rear camera along with a 5MP selfie camera.
The smartphone will run on MIUI 13 Optimized version and will be equipped with a rear fingerprint sensor. It will come with Bluetooth 5.1 support. Other than that the upcoming smartphone will be featuring a single speaker, 2+1 card slot, MicroUSB Port, and 3.5mm audio jack. The phone will weigh about 192 grams and measures 168.76 x 76.41 x 8.7mm.
Since Xiaomi’s event microsite has confirmed that the 12C Indian variant will be similar to the one available globally, hence the specifications tipped above are expected to turn out true. Though for the official confirmation, we need to wait for the device to make its debut in India on March 30.
