Redmi A2+ bags TDRA certification, launch imminent
Redmi A2+ with model number 23028RNCAG has been certified by the TDRA authority. Yesterday, the Redmi A2+ and A2 (model number 23028RN4DG) were spotted at Thailand’s NBTC certification. The Indian variants of the A2 and A2+ have also been approved by the BIS authority. These certifications indicate that the Redmi A2 duo will launch soon in multiple markets.
The TDRA certification of the Redmi A2+ does not reveal anything about its specifications. However, it is a good hint that the device will break cover soon.
Reports have revealed that the Redmi A2 will arrive with a 6.52-inch IPS LCD display with a teardrop notch. The screen will have an aspect ratio of 20:9 and an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels. It will come preloaded with Android 12 (Go edition) and MIUI 13.
Under the hood, the device will have the MediaTek Helio G36 chipset. The device will offer 2 GB / 3 GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, and a 5,000mAh battery with 10W charging via a micro USB port.
The A2 will have a 5-megapixel camera on the front. The rear camera setup of the device will have an 8-megapixel main camera and a 0.8-megapixel depth sensor.
As far as the Redmi A2 Plus is concerned, it is likely to come with the same specifications and design as the A2. However, the A2+ is also expected to feature a rear-facing fingerprint scanner.
