Redmi A2 series all set to make it’s debut in India on May 19, smartphone to be available for purchase on Amazon

Xiaomi has been among the topmost smartphone brands that manufacture some premium flagship devices along with mid-range smartphones. The company always tries to bring something new and innovative for its consumers at a price that suits the budget of Xiaomi users. This year the company launched its A2 series in some European markets and now it will be launching the same series in India also.

The series will include-Redmi A2 and Redmi A2+ smartphones which will the affordable devices by Xiaomi in India. As per the latest teaser image revealed the company has tagged the smartphones under this upcoming series as “Desh Ka Smartphone.”

The series will be launching in India on May 19 and will be made available for purchase on Amazon. Since both devices have made their debut in European markets, the specs of the upcoming series are not a secret.

Redmi A2 Series: Specifications

Both smartphones will sport a 6.52-inch IPS LCD display with HD+ resolution. It will offer a 20:9 aspect ratio and a 60Hz refresh rate. It will be powered by a MediaTek Helio G36 processor. In international markets, the smartphones arrived with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage but the company is expected to launch this upcoming series with a higher RAM variant in India.

The phones will house a 5000mAh battery that offers 10W charging support. Along with this, the smartphones will feature a dual rear camera setup that includes 8MP primary camera and a QVGA lens. It will also feature a 5MP selfie camera.

Both smartphones are similar to each other in terms of specs and the only difference is that the A2+ model features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
