Redmi A5 Smartphone Launching in India Next Week; Flipkart Landing Page With Key Specs Now Live
Xiaomi debuted its Redmi A5 smartphone last month in March 2025 and this device is soon arriving in the Indian market too. Its launch in the country has been announced and the Flipkart landing page with key specs has gone live.

Redmi A5 – Launching on 15th April 2025 in India
The Redmi A5 (4G) smartphone will be unveiled for Indian consumers next week on the 15th of April 2025, at 12PM noon, and it is teased with the tagline – ‘Aapke Sapno Ki Udaan‘. As mentioned, the Flipkart landing page for the smartphone is also now live in the country, as per which it will be featuring a Royale Design.
Speaking more, it will have the segment’s largest and smoothest display screen supporting 120Hz refresh rate, and assures its users enhanced eye comfort (TUV Rheinland-certified). A 5200 mAh battery backup will also be a part of the device, thereby ensuring an all-day battery life. Three color variants will also be introduced for this smartphone in India, and customers will be able to purchase it in Jaisalmar Gold, Pondicherry Blue, and Just Black colors. Notably, the device has been manufactured in India as well.
Already the POCO C71 smartphone has been launched in India as a re-branded version of the Redmi A5. Also, the debut of the Redmi A5 smartphone in the Indonesian market has revealed its full specs.
