Redmi confirms the specs of Redmi K70, Redmi Book 16(2024) and the launch of eSport version of Redmi Buds 5 Pro earbuds

Redmi has confirmed some of the key details of its upcoming smartphone Redmi K70 Pro including its display specifications. Now the company has dropped detailed specs of not one but two upcoming products. Let’s see them one by one.

Redmi K70 specs confirmed by Redmi

As per the Redmi recent post on Weibo the Redmi K70 will feature the same second-generation high-end 2K Chinese OLED screen jointly developed with TCL Huaxing featuring C8 luminescent material that consumes less power.

It features 4000 nits of peak brightness, supports 3840 Hz PWM high-frequency dimming, 2160Hz instantaneous touch sampling rate, and 12-bit 68.7 billion colors. It also comes with TUV Rheinland eye protection. As per the Weibo post, the handset is confirmed to come with a Light and Shadow Hunter 800 image sensor.

The handset is confirmed to be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and features stereo dual speakers, infrared remote control, and multifunctional NFC. In terms of design, it is announced to come with customised high transparency glass back with metal mid-frame.

As we mentioned above this is not the only product that Redmi has revealed, there is also a Redmi Book 16(2024) that will be launched tomorrow alongside the Redmi K70 series.

Now when the company has dropped the curtains from the specs let’s check them out in detail.

Redmi Book 16(2024) laptop

As per the company the Redmi Book 16(2024) will come with a Full metal body and it is thin as 15.9 mm and weighs 1.68 Kg. The laptop features a 2.5K display with a 120 Hz refresh rate, 400 nits of peak brightness, and TÜV Rheinland Hardware Level Low Blue Light. For better heat dissipation it is equipped with dual fans and dual 8mm heat pipes. As far as battery is concerned it is backed by a large 72Wh battery that offers 16h local video playback and will come with a 100W GaN adapter for charging.

Earlier the company confirmed that it will be powered by a Core i5-13500H processor that features 12 cores with 16 threads and a turbo boost frequency of up to 4.70 GHz. It will come with flagship-level LPDDR5 6400MT/s memory.

As of now the company only teased about the Redmi Buds 5 Pro earbuds that will be launched tomorrow but just recently it revealed that it will also launch the eSport version of Redmi Buds 5 Pro earbuds for passionate players. It will feature 20ms low latency and video synchronization.

Along with much-awaited crucial information, the company has not revealed anything about the price of the devices. This is what makes us all wait for a while.
