Redmi K70, K70 Pro live shots emerge before official announcement
The Redmi K70 series will be announced tomorrow (Nov. 29) in China. The company has already confirmed the design of the K70 Pro by releasing its official renders. It is speculated that other models, such as the Redmi K70 and K70e, will have the same design language as the Pro variant. Ahead of the official announcement, some live shots of the K70 and K70 Pro have emerged on Weibo, offering a firsthand glimpse at the actual devices.
Redmi K70, K70 Pro real-life images
The real-life images of the Redmi K70 and K70 Pro show an almost identical design. The K70 series sports thin bezels, but they seem to be thicker than the bezels available on the more premium Xiaomi 14 series.
A closer look at the live shots shows that the Redmi K70’s bottom bezels are somewhat thinner than the Pro variant. In the below image, the black model with the 23117RK66C model number is the Redmi K70 Pro, whereas the white phone bearing the 23113RKC6C model number is the standard K70.
The Redmi K70 Pro has the 2x optical zoom text engraved in the camera module, which indicates that it has a telephoto camera. On the other hand, the K70 will lack a telephoto snapper. As is already known, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipsets will power the Redmi K70 Pro and Redmi K70, respectively.
The K70 is said to arrive in three configurations, such as 16GB+256GB, 16GB+512GB, and 16GB+1TB, whereas the Pro edition may arrive in options like 16GB+256GB, 16GB+512GB, and 24GB+1TB. Apart from the differences mentioned above, the Redmi K70 and K70 Pro are unlikely to have any differing specifications.
