Redmi K80 Series Display Specs Revealed at the Recently Held Screen Technology Communication Meeting
Xiaomi, the Chinese consumer electronics maker, ahead of the official launch of its sub-flagship Redmi K80 series, recently held a screen technology communication meeting in association with the Sun Yat-sen University Zhongshan Eye Center and TCL Huaxing. The key display specifications of the series have thus been revealed.

Redmi K80 Series – Revealed Display Specs
As mentioned, the Redmi K80 series screen technology communication meeting was held in collaboration with Sun Yat-sen University Zhongshan Eye Center and TCL Huaxing today on the 18th of November 2024, afternoon, in China.
As per what has been revealed, the Redmi K80 series will be featuring an OLED TCL M9 LTPS display screen, supporting 2K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 1800 nits HBM mode, and circular polarized light for eye protection. An ultrasonic in-display fingerprint reader is also an important spec revealed today. 20.3% reduced power consumption, hardware level full brightness DC, ADV-MEMC gaming eye protection, and AON smart eye protection are some of the other revealed display specs.
From what it seems, the expected launch of the Redmi K80 series might be taking place this month on the 28th of November 2024. Two smartphones are going to be debuted under the series this month – Redmi K80 and Redmi K80 Pro. The two are expected to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and Snapdragon 8 Elite chips respectively.
