Redmi K80 Series Officially Confirmed to Debut this Month in the Chinese Market: Launch Date Revealed
Xiaomi, the Chinese consumer electronics manufacturer, was believed to unveil its latest Redmi K80 series sub-flagships this month in its home market and finally it is official. The launch date for the Redmi K80 series has been confirmed, and the poster image reveals the design and the ambassador of the series.

Redmi K80 Series – Official Launch Date Confirmed
Xiaomi very recently conducted the Redmi K80 series display technology communication conference in collaboration with Sun Yat-sen University Zhongshan Eye Center and TCL Huaxing, and it was pointed out that the series would be featuring an OLED TCL M9 LTPS display panel with many added specs. It was then expected that the Redmi K80 series may be released on the 28th of November 2024, but with the official poster image, it is confirmed that the debut would be taking place a day earlier on the 27th of November 2024 at 7 PM local time [two days ahead of iQOO Neo 10 series China launch].
Moreover, we can spot a Redmi K80 series device on the poster image, revealing design specs such as the circular rear camera module with three camera sensors, a horizontal LED strip, and a dual tone rear panel. Also, it has been revealed that the Chinese table tennis player Fan Zhendong will be the face of Redmi K80 series. The tagline – ‘Grand slam double flagships are popular’ (translated) again reiterates that only two smartphone models will be unveiled – Redmi K80 and Redmi K80 Pro.
Redmi K80 and Redmi K80 Pro – Expected/Revealed Specifications
The Redmi K80 and Redmi K80 Pro devices are said to arrive equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and Snapdragon 8 Elite chips respectively, along with flat 1.5K/2K OLED display, 50MP triple rear camera system, under-display optical/ultrasonic fingerprint reader, large batteries, and 120W wired fast charge support.
Since the official launch date has now been confirmed, in the next seven days, the brand is sure to tease some of the key specifications of the upcoming smartphones, and with the official launch this month, the price and availability details will be known.
