Rumour has it that Redmi is working on a Pro version of the Redmi Note 12 4G for both the global and Indian markets. The model numbers of the device were recently spotted in the IMEI database. A new leak, courtesy of tipster Kacper Skrzypek, has revealed vital information on the chipset that will power the Redmi Note 12 4G.

According to the tipster, the Redmi Note 12 4G will be powered by the Pro version of the Snapdragon 680. However, there is no information on what the final marketing name of the new chip could be or how much it will differ from the SD680 chip. It seems that Qualcomm may soon announce the new chip.
