Redmi Note 12 bags NBTC certification, launch imminent
A Redmi phone with model number 23021RAAEG has been previously seen at Singapore’s IMDA certification, the FCC in the US, and the IMEI database. The IMEI listing revealed that it will be called the Redmi Note 12 when it arrives on the market. Now, the same device has been approved by Thailand’s NBTC authority. These certifications suggest that it will not take too long for the Note 12 to go official.
It should be noted that the Redmi Note 12 (model number 23021RAAEG) will be a 4G device. Hence, it will be different from the Redmi Note 12 5G, which has already been launched in India. The NBTC listing does not have any information on the major specifications of the device. However, recent reports have revealed almost everything about it.

The Note 12 will house a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging. It will have a 13-megapixel front camera and a 50-megapixel (main) + 8-megapixel (ultra-wide) + 2-megapixel (macro) triple camera unit on the back. The device is also expected to be released in India.
