Redmi Note 12R to Arrive in Global and Indian Markets as Redmi 12 5G and POCO M6 Pro 5G: Claims Tipster

Redmi Note 12R Coming to Global and Indian Markets?
The Chinese consumer electronics manufacturer, Xiaomi very recently launched its latest Redmi Note 12R smartphone in its home market, China, and a recent update states its arrival in the global and Indian markets. The update comes from a post shared by a Twitter user(Kacper Skrzypek), who claims that the newly launched device will be arriving in the global and Indian markets as Redmi 12 5G and in the Indian market again as the POCO M6 Pro 5G. However, it should be noted that no other sources or reports claim it.

There is also one more question the smartphone world is asking, “where is the POCO M5 Pro 5G?” Xiaomi has already launched two smartphones in the POCO M5 series – the POCO M5 and the POCO M5s and has not yet launched the POCO M5 Pro smartphone. The recent update is however speaking about the POCO M6 Pro 5G smartphone instead.
We’ll have to wait until more updates are made available to confirm anything more about the said smartphones.

Redmi Note 12R Specifications
The latest Redmi Note 12R smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset and runs on the Android 13-based MIUI 14 custom user interface. It is available in three RAM options of 4GB, 6GB, and 8GB and two internal storage options of 128GB and 256GB.
For its display, the smartphone features an IPS LCD display with a screen size of 6.69 inches and has an FHD+ screen resolution. It also supports a 90Hz refresh rate.
The smartphone at its rear sports a dual camera setup with a 50MP main camera and a 2MP macro camera. For selfies, a 5MP front-facing camera is also provided.
The device is also equipped with a 5000 mAh battery which supports a fast charge feature of upto 18W. The smartphone is available in three color choices of Midnight Black, Time Blue, and Sky Fantasy, and in the Chinese market starts at a price of CNY 999 (~$138).
