Redmi has finally launched not one but two tablets in the Indian market that cater to the needs of different scenarios and users. First is the Redmi Pad Pro 5G tablet that has a 12.1-inch wide display and comes with the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 password. Second is the Redmi Pad SE 4G tablet that comes with an 8.7-inch wide display and is powered by the MediaTek Helio G85 processor. Let’s get to know about these tablets in detail.

The Redmi Pad SE 4G tablet comes with an 8.7-inch wide LCD display with a 90Hz refresh ratio and 600 nits of peak brightness. It is powered by the MediaTek Helio G85 processor paired with up to 128GB storage and 4GB RAM. In the camera department, it has an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera. The tablet is backed by a 6500mAh battery that supports 10W charging. It has also Dolby Atmos tuned two speakers. The tablet has also a 3.5mm headphone jack. It runs Android 14 based Xiaomi HyperOS out of the box. This tablet is launched in Urban Grey, Ocean Blue, and Forest Green colour options. Along with this compact tablet company has also launched a back cover that allows you to hold the tablet comfortably in hands.
Price and availability
The Redmi Pad SE 4G tablet will be available from 8th August on Flipkart, mi.com, and Xiaomi retail stores. As far as it’s the price is concerned it is Rs 9,999 for the 4GB/64GB variant while the 4GB/128GB variant is priced at Rs 10,999 including the ICICI Bank offer. The Redmi Pad SE 4G Cover is priced at Rs 999 and its will also be available from 8th August on mi.com and Xiaomi retail.
Redmi Pad Pro 5G
The Redmi Pad Pro 5G tablet features a 12.1 inch wide 2.5K resolution display with 120Hz refresh rate 600 nits of peak brightness and Dolby Vision support. It also comes with the TUV Rheinland Low Blue Light certification. The display stays protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor paired with up to 256GB UFS 2.2 storage and 8GB LPDDR4X RAM.
In the camera department, the tablet features an 8MP rear and 8MP front camera. It is backed by a 10,000mAh battery that supports 33W charging. Additionally, it comes with the Dolby Atmos-tuned quad speakers for an immersive listening experience. The tablet runs Android 14 based Xiaomi HyperOS out of the box thus allowing you to access your phone directly on the tablet. It is compatible with the Redmi Pad Pro keyboard, and Redmi Smart Pen.
