Redmi Pad Pro 5G launched in China; Read price, specifications
In April, Redmi unveiled the Redmi Turbo 3 and the Redmi Pad Pro in China. The latter debuted as the most powerful Redmi-branded tablet. The tablet has been available in a Wi-Fi-only version since its launch. However, a 5G version of the tablet was recently seen in the database of China’s TENAA certification platform.

The newly announced Redmi Pad Pro 5G comes in two options, such as 8GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB. These models are priced at 1,999 CNY (~$275) and 2,399 CNY (~$330). It comes in a Dark Gray colour only.
The Redmi Pad Pro 5G is the company’s latest 5G-enabled tablet, following the Xiaomi Pad 5 Pro 5G, which debuted back in August 2021.
Redmi Pad Pro 5G specifications
The Redmi Pad Pro 5G has a 12.1-inch IPS LCD panel that offers 1600 x 2560 pixels resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, 600 nits of brightness, and Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The device runs on Android 14-based HyperOS. It has a pair of 8-megapixel cameras, one on the front and the other on the back.
The Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chip powers the Redmi Pad Pro 5G. The SoC is coupled with LPDDR4x RAM, UFS 2.2 storage, and a 10,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging. The device comes with four speakers and supports a stylus and keyboard.
The Poco Pad available on the global market is a rebranded version of China’s Redmi Pad Pro. Now that the Redmi Pad Pro 5G has arrived, it is unclear whether the Poco Pad 5G will make its global debut.
