Redmi Pad Pro (Wifi) may soon make its debut in the Global Market, spotted on Singapore’s IMDA certification
Once again, I’m back with a new revelation about the upcoming Redmi tablet, the Redmi Pad Pro. However, this time it’s not the 5G variant but rather the Wi-Fi variant. Today, we spotted this upcoming tablet on Singapore’s IMDA certification website.
Redmi Pad Pro (Wifi) IMDA
The tablet’s multiple appearances on various certifications suggest an imminent launch. For those unfamiliar, the Redmi Pad Pro has already been introduced in the Chinese market alongside the Redmi Turbo 3. Returning to the IMDA certification, the tablet bears the model number ‘2405CRPFDG,’ indicating it’s the Wi-Fi variant, as denoted by ‘WLAN’ and ‘BLTH’ under equipment type. Only this much is revealed via this certification.
However, this isn’t the first sighting of the tablet. It was previously spotted on the Google Play Console with two model numbers: ‘2405CRPFDG’ and ‘2405CRPFDL,’ where ‘G’ signifies Global and ‘L’ represents Latin America. The Google Play Console certification suggests the device will feature the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC, corroborating with a prior leak reported by Android Headlines. The listing also revealed a screen size of 1600×2560, a screen density of 320 (xhdpi), 8GB of RAM, and Android 14.
We have also covered earlier the sighting of the Redmi Pad Pro Keyboard and Stylus on BIS, TDRA, SDPPI, IMDA, NRRA, and FCC. All these certifications hint that a launch is around the corner.
But here is more: a 5G variant of this tablet is also in the works as per its recent spotting on Google Play Console and Bluetooth SIG. It was listed on Google Play Console with “24074RPD2I” and on Bluetooth SIG it showed “24074RPD2C”. There is also a third model number of the 5G variant “24074RPD2G” and G here represents global.
