Redmi Turbo 3 Launched In China With Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 Chipset, AI Based Object Eraser, Air Gesture
Xiaomi has finally launched the much-awaited smartphone Redmi Turbo 3 during a launch event in China. The smartphone comes with features like a 6.67-inch wide OLED display, a 50MP Sony LYT-600 sensor with OIS, and a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor. Let’s get to know about the handset in detail.
Specifications of the Redmi Turbo 3
The Redmi Turbo 3 smartphone comes with a flat frame with curved corners. The rear side of the smartphone shows two large protruding camera rings. It weighs 179 gm and is 7.8mm thick. It features a 6.67-inch wide OLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, 1.5K resolution, and 2400 nits of peak brightness. In the camera department, the smartphone has a 50 MP Sony LYT-600 sensor with OIS and an 8MP ultra wide-angle camera.
The front side of the smartphone sports a 20MP selfie camera. It is powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor paired with up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage. For heat dissipation, the smartphone has a large VC area and Xiaomi’s Ice Cooling system. It is backed by a 5000mAh battery that supports 90W fast charging. The smartphone runs Android 14 based HyperOS out of the box. Additionally, the smartphone comes with an Air Gesture, AI AI-based object eraser, an in-display fingerprint sensor, and x-axis linear motor for haptics.
Price and availability
The Redmi Turbo 3 pricing starts from CNY 1,999(~$276) for the base variant 12GB+256GB. Its 12GB+512GB variant is priced at CNY 2,299(~$317) while its 16GB+512GB variant is priced at CNY 2,499(~$345). Its top-spec variant 16GB+1TB is priced at CNY 2,799(~$386). The Redmi Turbo 3 Harry Potter Edition smartphone packs 16GB RAM with 512GB storage and is priced at 2,699(~$375). The smartphone is available in three colour options Black Crystal, Green Blade, and Ice Titanium. It will go on sale from April 15th.
