Samsung Galaxy A05 Spotted on the FCC Certification Platform: Might Launch Soon

The South Korean smartphone maker, Samsung will soon be unveiling its Galaxy A05 series smartphones, and one among the two upcoming devices, the Galaxy A05 smartphone has been certified by the FCC certification authority.

Galaxy A05 Receives FCC Certification

The upcoming Galaxy A05 smartphone has been certified by the FCC certification authority with the FCC ID, ZCASMA055M, and two models of the smartphone have made an appearance on the database with model numbers, SM-A055M/DS and SM-A055M.

The smartphone has been listed as a 4G device with 2G, 3G, and 4G network connectivity support, and with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity support. Regarding its Wi-Fi, it has triple band support, and its Bluetooth, supports EDR(Enhance Data Rate) and BLE5(Bluetooth Low Energy).

The FCC listings also reveal that the device supports location positioning services such as GPS, BDS, Gallileo, and Glonass. The device also supports OTG connectivity and has a USB type-C charging port.

Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy A05 smartphone will have two variants as well, just like its predecessor, one with dual SIM support and the other with single SIM support. The SM-A055M/DS is likely to be the dual SIM variant and the SM-A055M might be the single SIM variant.

Two schematic images of the smartphone have also been revealed via its FCC listing, which points out that the device doesn’t have curved edges. The dimensions and antenna distribution of the smartphone have also been revealed in one of the schematic images.

Samsung’s Galaxy A05 series will include two smartphones, the Galaxy A05 and the Galaxy A05s smartphones, and both smartphones have four models each. All the models of the two devices were previously spotted on the IMEI database and the four models of the Galaxy A05 smartphone have also appeared on the Bluetooth SIG certification platform. The device will support Bluetooth connectivity of version 5.3.

As the device has received the FCC certification, it is likely that the device will have its launch soon. With its launch, more about the smartphone will be revealed.
