The South Korean tech giant, Samsung, has launched its latest A-series smartphone, the Galaxy A05s, in the Indian market, as announced. The device is a mid-range smartphone with an expected affordable price point.

Samsung Galaxy A05s Launched in India
Samsung’s latest Galaxy A05s smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 4G (6 nm) chipset, integrated with the Adreno 610 GPU, and runs on the Android 13 operating system with the One UI custom skin on top. The brand has also assured 2 years of OS updates and 4 years of security updates for the device. To add, the device is only available in one storage option in India – 6GB/128GB.
For its display, the smartphone has a PLS LCD display panel with a screen size of 6.7″, and a screen resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. It also supports a 90Hz refresh rate.
Coming to the cameras, the device sports a triple rear camera setup with a 50MP main camera, a 2MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth camera. For selfies, the device also offers a 16MP front camera.
Regarding the battery, the smartphone is equipped with a 5000 mAh battery which supports a 25W fast charge feature.
Some of the other specs include 4G network connectivity, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac with dual-band support & Wi-Fi direct, Bluetooth 5.1, USB 2.0, 8.8mm thickness, 194 gm weight, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
The Galaxy A05s smartphone has now been listed on the brand’s official Indian website with three color choices – Black, Light Green, and Light Purple. The price of the smartphone is also pointed out to be Rs. 14,999 and if you have a SBI Bank card you can further get a discount of Rs 1,000.
