Samsung Galaxy C55 5G With Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC And 45W Fast Charging Unveiled In China

Lately, a Samsung device with model number SM-C5560 was spotted on various certification websites and it was said that the device could be called Galaxy Y55 or C55 and will be making its debut in China. This rumored device was also said to be the rebranded version of Galaxy M55 5G that recently launched in the Indian market.

Well, Samsung has today officially unveiled the SM-C5560 device in China with the moniker Galaxy C55 5G. The specs of the smartphone have been officially revealed and the sale for the device is said to be starting from 26th April in the Chinese market.

Galaxy C55 5G: Specifications

The smartphone features a 6.7-inch AMOLED display that offers FHD+ screen resolution, 120 Hz refresh rate, and 1000 nits brightness. It is powered by a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC that is paired with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. It runs on One UI 6.1 based on Android 14 OS. The device is backed by a 5000 mAh battery that supports 45W fast charging. It packs up a triple rear camera setup that includes a 50MP main camera with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP macro camera. While on the front it features a 50MP selfie camera. The smartphone weighs 180 g and measures 163.9×76.5×7.8mm.

Other features include- Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, USB-C, an in-display fingerprint scanner, dual stereo speakers, and a hybrid SIM slot. The device arrives in Colorful Orange and Fashion Black color options.

The pricing details of the smartphone have yet not been revealed by the brand but it is rumored that the 8GB/256GB variant could be priced at 1,999 Yuan and 12GB/256GB could be priced at 2,299 Yuan.
