Samsung Galaxy F05 with MediaTek Helio G85, 6.7″ HD+ display launched in India at Rs 7,999
Samsung has announced the launch of the Galaxy F05, a new addition to its Galaxy F series in India. For those who don’t recall, Samsung launched the Galaxy M05 just a few days ago via Amazon in the Indian market. As with previous releases, the Galaxy F05 shares the design and specifications of the already available Galaxy M05. Typically, Samsung launches its M series smartphones through Amazon and its F series through Flipkart in the Indian market.
Samsung Galaxy F05 Specs
The Galaxy F05 features a vegan leather pattern design. Its camera system includes a 50MP main camera with an F/1.8 aperture, a 2MP depth-sensing camera, and an 8MP front-facing camera for selfies.
The smartphone is equipped with a MediaTek Helio G85 processor. It offers up to 8GB of RAM through Samsung’s RAM Plus feature, which allows for the addition of virtual RAM. The device supports expandable storage of up to 1TB via microSD card.
The Galaxy F05 has a 6.7-inch HD+ display. It comes with a 5000mAh battery and supports 25W fast charging.
The device runs on Android 14 and Samsung has committed to providing two generations of OS upgrades and four years of security updates.
Availability
The Galaxy F05 will be available in a 4GB+64GB storage variant in Twilight Blue. Sales are scheduled to begin on September 20 through Flipkart, Samsung.com, and select retail stores. The device is priced at INR 7,999 for the 4GB+64GB model.
