Samsung Galaxy F06 5G becomes the first smartphone to launch with OneUI 7 after the Galaxy S25 series

Samsung has unveiled its latest budget-friendly 5G contender in the Indian market – the Galaxy F06 5G, running on OneUI 7 based on Android 15. Following the Galaxy S25 Series, this marks Samsung’s second device to feature the latest OneUI 7 interface. At its heart beats the Dimensity 6300 SOC, delivering impressive performance with an AnTuTu score reaching up to 416K.
The company reinforces its commitment to long-term software support with its new 4+4 security update policy. Users can expect 4 years of major OS upgrades alongside 4 years of security patch updates, extending the device’s software journey all the way to Android 19.
It supports 12 5G bands and will work on all networks in India, according to Samsung. The company has designed the phone with a distinctive ‘Ripple Glow’ finish and offers it in two colors: Bahama Blue and Lit Violet.
The Galaxy F06 5G has a 6.7-inch HD+ display that delivers 800 nits of brightness. The phone maintains a slim 8mm profile and weighs 191 grams. For enhanced security, Samsung has integrated a side-mounted fingerprint sensor into the power button. Further it has a 50MP wide-angle main camera with F1.8 aperture and a 2MP depth sensor on the back. While the front features a 8MP selfie shooter.

Samsung offers the Galaxy F06 5G in two variants: the 4GB+128GB model priced at INR 9,499 (including INR 500 bank cashback) and the 6GB+128GB variant at INR 10,999. Sales will begin on February 20th at 12 PM across Flipkart and Samsung’s website.
