Samsung Galaxy M44 5G launched in South Korea as Galaxy Jump 3
Samsung has launched a new mid-range smartphone named Galaxy Jump 3 in South Korea. This is believed to be the same as the upcoming Galaxy M44 smartphone. Its model number SM-M446KZKAKTC hints towards its M44 identity.
The smartphone features a typical mid-range design with a triple camera setup on the rear with an LED flash. There is a notch on the front that houses the front camera. It comes with significant bezels around the display.
Specifications
The Galaxy Jump 3 comes with a 6.58-inch wide LCD display with a 120 Hz refresh rate. It is powered by a Snapdragon 888 chipset. The chipset was released in 2020 and the reason behind using this chipset still remains unclear. Those who don’t like to own an Exynos-powered Samsung smartphone can be happy as the 888 chipset can offer a significant performance boost.
It packs 6GB RAM and 128 GB of expandable storage. The camera section includes a 50 MP main rear camera and a 13 MP selfie camera. It is backed by a 5000 mAh battery. It weighs 216 grams and its dimensions are 167.7 x 78 x 9.1 mm.
The company has yet not made any announcement regarding the price of the handset.
The Galaxy M44 5G smartphone has made it to the Bluetooth SIG and Geekbench earlier. It was spotted on Geekbench with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset paired with Adreno 660 GPU.
