Samsung Galaxy M55 5G first teaser is out for India, Pricing also leaked

So it’s not even a day, that Samsung announced the Galaxy M55 5G in Brazil. Just after its launch in Brazil, Samsung released its first teaser for the Indian audience on X. Samsung released the trailer with the tagline the Monster is on its way with a slim and sleek design. Samsung will launch the Galaxy M55 5G via Amazon, as now the support page is up. Recently, Galaxy F55 5G was also spotted on BIS certification, hinting that F55 is also on its way to India.

Since this has already been launched we have a fair idea what this smartphone is going to offer in terms of specs. It features a  6.7″ FHD+  120Hz display with 1000 nits of peak brightness. Samsung is bringing in Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 under the hood. Samsung didn’t release M54 5G but launched its sibling Galaxy F54 in the Indian market but it came with an Exynos 1380, which I think is an upgrade. Plus you will get OneUI 6.1 skin based on Android 14 out of the box.

The camera section is equipped with a 50MP front selfie shooter and a triple rear camera setup of 50MP(OIS) + 8MP(Ultrawide) + 2MP(Macro). You will get a typical 5,000 mAh battery with 25W fast charging and USB Type-C support.

Other specs include 5G network connectivity, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, in-display fingerprint scanner, dual stereo speakers, IP67 rated body, 163.9 x 76.5 x 7.8 mm dimension, and 180 gm weight.

Pricing and Availability

Samsung has launched only a single variant 8GB+256GB in Brazil, pricing it at Rs BRL 2,999 (~ INR 45,000), and is available in two colours Dark Blue and Light Green. However, as per tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore, Samsung may launch this smartphone in Three variations namely: – 8GB+128GB: ₹26,999 – 8GB+256GB: ₹29,999 – 12GB+256GB: ₹32,999. Right now there is no word from Samsung about its launch date and availability for the Indian market. But it is expected that Samsung may put this smartphone on the Indian shelves by Next month(April).
