Samsung Galaxy S24, S24 Plus, S24 Ultra 3C certified, fast charging capabilities revealed

Samsung is reportedly working on the Galaxy S24 series of smartphones. Like the predecessor series, the S24 lineup will comprise the Galaxy S24, the Galaxy S24 Plus, and the Galaxy S24 Ultra. Three new Samsung phones have appeared in the database of the 3C certification platform. It appears that these are nothing but the upcoming Galaxy S24 models.

Samsung Galaxy S24 series 3C listing

As can be seen in the above screenshot, three Samsung phones with model numbers SM-S9210, SM-S9260, and SM-S9280 have appeared in the database of the 3C certification platform. These devices are said to be the upcoming Galaxy S24, the Galaxy S24 Plus, and the Galaxy S24 Ultra.

The 3C certifications show that the Galaxy S24 may arrive with support for 25W charging. On the other hand, the Galaxy S24 Plus and S24 Ultra may support 45W fast charging. There were reports that the S24 Ultra may support 65W charging, but the 3C certification reveals that it will continue to support 45W charging.

The Galaxy S24 series has appeared a bit earlier than the Galaxy S23 in 3C’s database. To recall, the Galaxy S23 models emerged at 3C in the last week of September 2022. The early appearance of the S24 lineup is a good hint that it may debut a bit earlier than the S23 series.

The Galaxy S23, S23+, and S23 Ultra were announced on Feb. 1 last year. It is likely that the S24 series will go official in January 2024.
