With this same model number, the smartphone was also spotted on the Geekbench database, which pointed to some of its key specifications, and the leaked render images revealed its design aspects.
From what is being assumed, the Galaxy XCover 7 will likely be the rugged version of the Galaxy A55 5G, and the device might be equipped with the Dimensity 6100+ chipset. The Android 14 OS and a 6GB RAM variant are some of its other revealed specs. Also do note that the smartphone attained single-core and multi-core scores of 663 points and 1867 points respectively on Geekbench.
Regarding the design, just like the other Galaxy XCover series devices, the upcoming Galaxy XCover 7 also has a durable and sturdy design, with raised corners. The display has thick bezels and a water-drop notch housing the selfie camera. The rear panel has a grooved design with a single rear camera and a dual-tone LED flash. The camera also features a circular red accent around it. The power button and the volume rocker are on the right, and a customizable XCover key is given on the left side panel.
As far as its launch is concerned, the smartphone is expected to debut in the first quarter of next year (in Q1 2024). The device will also probably have a price point of below $599, lower than the XCover 6 Pro.
