Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 revealed to debut with bigger cover screen compared to the Z Flip 4
Samsung was the first to introduce foldable smartphones and the company has been dominating the segment for quite a long time. But to compete with Samsung other brands have also started introducing their foldable smartphones like OPPO Find N2 Flip, and the upcoming Vivo X Flip. OnePlus has also announced that it will soon introduce its first foldable smartphone. With all these brands entering the foldable phones segment, it was assumed as a threat to Samsung.
But seems like Samsung was well prepared for this as this year the company will be expanding its foldable lineup by unveiling Galaxy Z Fold 5 and the Galaxy Z Flip 5. These smartphones are expected to launch with some important upgrades, also according to a few rumors these smartphones will have a waterdrop hinge which will allow the devices to fold shut without leaving a gap between the two sides.
Galaxy Z Flip 5 is rumored to come with upsizing of the cover display. As per Sammobile, the display area on the outer side will cover as much space so that users will be able to do most of their work without unfolding the phone which will definitely offer a convenient performance. This means that the smartphone will be almost usable when folded.
The cover screen is expected to feature 3 to 4 inches and will showcase skinnier bezels as compared to Samsung’s existing foldable.
Till now no other key specification has been revealed about this upcoming foldable smartphone but just like the other devices of Samsung we might get to hear more about the Galaxy Z Flip 5 through leaked information and rumors. For the official announcement, we need to be patient as the smartphone will be making its debut this year but the exact timeline is still not known.
