Here’s What We Know
The launch of the Galaxy Z Flip 5 will most probably take place 6 or 7 months from now and like always some of its specifications have been leaked.
An analyst named Ross Young from the Display Supply Chain Consultants (DSCC) recently shared that the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 will have a larger cover display along with a new hinge design.
Samsung’s competitor, Motorola, has a 2.7″ OLED cover display for its Moto Razr Flip Phone. The rumored OPPO Find N2 Flip Phone is also going to have a 3.26″ OLED Display.
The Galaxy Z Flip 4 has a 1.9″ OLED display. Samsung had also updated its cover display from the 1.1″ cover display which was there in the Galaxy Z Flip to the 1.9″ OLED display that we see now.
To meet with its competitors Samsung is going to upgrade its cover display. The upcoming Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 is going to have a cover display of 3 inches.
In addition to the upgrade in the cover display, Galaxy Z Flip 5 will also be having a new hinge design which will help in reducing the visibility of the seam. Currently, the crease on the smartphone is visible and this upgrade will help in reducing it.
Apart from these, there aren’t any details shared regarding the specifications or other additional features of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5. More of its specifications will likely be out very soon.
