Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 spotted on FCC certification website, just ahead of it’s launch

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5- the upcoming foldable device of Samsung has created a lot of buzz over the internet even before its official launch. Whether it’s their design renders, launch timeline, or the smartphone making its appearance on different certification websites like- BIS, Geekbench, and 3C certification. Due to these constant appearances, much information about this upcoming foldable device is already known to us.

Now ahead of its launch, the smartphone has been spotted on the FCC certification website with model number SM-F946B and FCC ID- A3LSMF9460. The database has revealed few details about this smartphone.

As revealed the device will be a 5G smartphone and will also support 6G network connectivity while the power supply details are also revealed from the database. The listing also confirms that the upcoming device will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor.

The listing also reveals that the smartphone will feature the wireless powershare feature. Wondering what this feature is about? Well with the help of this feature, your Galaxy Z Fold 5 can reverse wireless charge another phone, watch, or Galaxy Buds. This feature works with most Qi-compatible devices. All you need to do is simply activate this feature from the notification panel, then place the other device on the center of your Galaxy Z Fold 5 with their backs facing. Separate the device when it has been charged enough or fully charged.

Though as per the listing Powershare feature can only work if your device is charged above 30%. Also the feature will offer the maximum power output of 9W as per the database.

The listing also shows that the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 5 will support S Pen with model number EJ-PF946 but the device will not support S Pen charging.

The certification website has revealed much detailed information about this upcoming device to know what more this device has to offer to its consumers we need to wait for the official launch of Galaxy Z Fold 5 which is expected to be at Samsung’s Unpacked event held on 26 July in Seoul.
