Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6, Z Flip 6 receive 3C certification well before launch
Samsung is reportedly working on the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and the Galaxy Z Flip 6 foldable phones for different markets. The South Korean tech giant is expected to announce these devices globally in July. Well ahead of the launch, both models have received approval from the 3C certification platform in China.
The image above reveals the appearance of two new Samsung smartphones, identified with model numbers SM-F7410 and SM-F9560, in the 3C database. The listings indicate the use of an EP-TA800 charger capable of delivering up to 25W charging for both models. Comparatively, previous models like the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Z Flip 5 also supported 25W charging. From the details obtained through the 3C certification, it appears that Samsung doesn’t intend to introduce enhanced charging capabilities for the upcoming Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 devices.
According to reports, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 will come with Gorilla Glass Armor protection, which was introduced on the Galaxy S24 Ultra. It is expected to feature up to 16 GB of RAM, up to 1 TB of storage, and a 4,600mAh battery. It may feature a 6.4-inch cover display and a 50-megapixel (main) + 12-megapixel (ultra-wide) + 10-megapixel (telephoto) triple camera unit on the back.
The Galaxy Z Flip 6 is expected to come with Exynos 2400 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Galaxy CPU variants, depending on the market. It will arrive with 8 GB / 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB / 512 GB of storage. It is likely to pack a 4,400mAh battery. Reports suggest that its cover screen will support a refresh rate of 120Hz. Both devices are said to offer a One UI 6.1.1-based Android 14 experience.
