Samsung Unveils Galaxy Quantum 5: A Secure Smartphone Featuring Quantum Cryptography for Enhanced Online Safety

Samsung has launched an extra secured version of the Galaxy A55 smartphone in South Korea. This smartphone comes with the name Galaxy Quantum 5 and features an extra security chip from ID Quantique (IDQ).

The company has developed this smartphone in collaboration with the South Korean telecom carrier SK Telecom and it comes with a quantum cryptography security chip that makes it secure for things like online gaming. This smartphone is priced at KRW 618,200($465) and is available for buyers in three color options that are: Awesome Ice Blue, Awesome Lilac, and Awesome Navy. Specifications of Galaxy Quantum 5

The Samsung Quantum 5 smartphone features a 6.6-inch wide Super AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ support, and Glass Victus+ protection. It also supports an in-display fingerprint sensor for security. It is powered by the Exynos 1480 chipset and packs 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. It runs Android 14 out of the box and is promised to receive four OS upgrades. It features a  Quantum Random Number Generator (QRNG) chip from ID Quantique called S2Q000. In the camera department, the smartphone has got 50MP primary rear camera, a 12MP ultrawide camera, and a 5MP macro camera on the rear. The front side of the smartphone boasts a 32MP front-facing camera. It is backed by a 5,000mAh battery and supports 25W fast charging.
