Sony in Works to Launch a New Flip Smartphone Device: Likely to Feature a Larger Inner Display
Many of the leading smartphone makers, including OPPO, Vivo, and Motorola have already introduced their foldable devices in the market and the company referred to us as the king of foldable devices, Samsung is expected to launch two of its new foldable smartphones – the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Galaxy Z Fold 5 in the global market this month.
Now, Sony is reportedly in the works to launch a new foldable smartphone device with a flip or clamshell form factor design.

Is Sony to Launch a New Flip Smartphone Device?
As per what reports are revealing, the Japanese consumer electronics manufacturer, Sony is going to launch a new smartphone device with a flip/clamshell form factor design and it is expected to look similar to Samsung’s Galaxy Z Flip series devices. However, the upcoming device is expected to feature a 7″ larger inner display than Samsung’s Flip devices, including the upcoming Galaxy Z Flip 5 smartphone that will probably have a 6.7″ foldable display screen. It has also been revealed that the inner display is likely going to have an aspect ratio of 21:9 just like other Sony Xperia smartphones, with a 4K screen resolution.
What came as a really surprising news is that, while other smartphone makers are focusing on bringing larger cover displays to its flip smartphones, Sony’s upcoming device may not feature a cover display at all.
